My family has been in photography for 150 years. I took this project on in 2003 to leave a pictorial account of
those who served the city of Detroit as firefighters. I'm hoping others can add their family members who are missing
from this group.
Genealogy research has been a hobby for over 20 years. With my husband, John Anderson, retired from the DFD
after 35 years, we're lucky enough to know many firefighters who have helped gather information.
